Are you tired about the classic "Nye Celebration" on the snow ?

Why not be alternative and spend it in the heat? maybe in Miami!? December/January is a good time to go to Florida... not the most suitable one (it would be spring) but depending on your luck, you can find beautiful and very hot summer days. We had it! :) This is how my New Year's Eve in Miami was.

Otherwise, another crazy idea (not for all budgets) could be to spend it in the rich and luxurious Dubai! See how to organize it here

Warm winter isn't for you? No fear! New York is the destination for you! Who hasn't wanted to spend this wonderful time of year as you were Kevin McCallister? The lights, the decorations, the shopping... what a dream is that!? Here are some tips on where to go, how to get around and above and all what to do on New Year's Eve in New York.

Partying isn't for you but you have some days off and you still want to use them to go on a nice trip?? Here's an idea for a special New Year's Eve: my weird New Year's Eve in Shanghai! But China is not the only country where nothing is celebrated on 12/31!! Even in Israel you will have a New Year without fireworks and above all without large parties. But here's the reason to go to the Holy Land at least once in your life.

Do you want to know what my destination was for one of my last New Year's Eves? You would never guess!! I went to celebrate it in the middle of the sea!! And more precisely in the Baltic Sea... traveling between Stockholm and Helsinki!!

You just can't give up the snow?? Okay...but treat yourself to at least one night in an Igloo!! Look here how I spent one of my last New Years!

Obviously all this can only be done by booking flights and hotels in advance...unfortunately, as it is a very high season, planes and hotel rooms fill up easily and what remains are just super exaggerated and unaffordable rates (for us mere mortals), obvious! )
